Summer's here and I'll be outdoors all the time so I want to get the Marathon Plus Evo's. I wanted knobby's but I run 22" wheels and I cant find them under 24", so it seems the Marathon's are best that I can find. They look like better tread (pictures anyway) than Cheng shin, (using now) and those shox tires that came on my wheels were totally useless (why run bald tires, I don't get that, I couldn't even go a foot in my lawn, got rid of them immediately)
I fiqure I'll order them in from a local bike shop, hopefully save on shipping? My supplier will probably charge me double than the bike shop. Anywho, somewhere you were talking about these tires and different "tube sizes" or something, one being better than the other? Along with harder to change too? I'll just get bike shop to put on, but the tube thing? Wouldn't I just buy the matching tubes?PS: 1" seems real skinny, will I notice less traction than my 1 3/8" ? |
