Hmmmm...
Maybe.... The invitation could read something like this... Pretend your name is Steve... "In celebration of Steve's 50th Birthday, your presence is requested at the marriage of Steve and (pretend name Pam's) wedding on DATE at TiME at PLACE." Your presence is the only Birthday gift to bring... ![]() Hmmm...not sure if that even makes sense...but it is the best I can do off the top of my head...lol. Teena |

I wouldn't mention the birthday. Your family will know and will do what they usually do for your birthday .Other guests might veiw you as greedy, expecting 2 gifts. You will have many birthdays. Only one wedding day. And a bonus-- hopefully you will never forget your anniversity. Congradulations!

Hmmm tough one. First marriage? I like Teena's idea but could see where some may see it as tacky. It is an important milestone, and more important it is your day. You know your loved ones you are inviting. If mention of your 50th is viewed by some as being greedy and a solicitation for "another"gift that'll keep them from attending so be it. Those that know and love and are important to you and your lovely bride will be there with one, two, or even no gifts, and you will appreciate them all the more. Congrats "old man". Enjoy your day.
