Zra cad drawing vs current chair
I just received the drawing of the chair I spec'd out. I'm glad I went this route to ok it first before it's built. I went narrower and lower on the new one and that should be fine. I overlapped pics of my current and the spec'd new one to get an idea.
The problem I see is when trying to duplicate my Kuschall chair in other parts it's a bit off. Since the ZRA is a shorter frame than Kuschalls I added an inch of frame past the seat sling. I've also been told Tilite's 85 degree is like a 90 on others so I spec'd a 85 degree front angle. As you can see the new ZRA will actually stick out further than my Kuschall. I want it pretty exact and if it's out more it will prohibit things like being able to roll up, face the tub, lean over and wash my hair lol. Also getting close to other things will be affected. My main question is should I revise my specs to order a 90 degree. I know Tilite automatically adds an inch of frame past the sling when you order a 90. Or should I do an 85 without the added inch of frame? Also, on my seat to footrest, currently I'm at 16-16.5". With the 90 Tilite should I go shorter so I have adjustability? Will bringing my feet in make it a shorter measurment? I will only have 2" clearance to the ground so can't really adjust it to be longer if needed and not sure how much adjustability there is to go up. [hoping sci_otr sees this incase noone else has a clue what i'm talking about!]

spec the seat to footrest shorter than u need, i had know upward adjustment on my zr so i had to have the dme guy come out and take 2 inchs off each of my downtubes[frame], thats no easy task. if its not tight enough go 90 but it looks like your kuscall comes down then back past 90 to me,.
the cad drawing is crucial......... Quote:

Thanx a lot I've found 85 degree frames on CC without the 1" extra frame and compared them back to back to my Kuschall and that looks pretty exact. Now if I can just find a side view of a 90 degree zra it's between getting a 85 without added frame and 90. I can get another cad of new specs, but they charge after the first one. Does anyone have a 90 degree zra they can take a side shot of for me? Not so much from a standing position(duh) but lower so I can compare pics and overlap them exactly.
