Tired!
Wonder if a lightning strike would turbo charge your one-off? Hah! Always fun to see your pics and the fun you are having, Steve. You're the man!

I'm scared of that shit - I lost a friend to lightning, and we are in one of the most lightning active places in the world + having a plate C4-C5, rods T11-T12-L1 and a titanium femur cannot help.

Pretty stoked with my decision to get crutches. Today I walked around the block (a tad more than 1/2 mile). Today is an off day from working out, ut I had an itch to give it a try. I think I am going to try to some walking at least 2 days a week now. I think I could do a mile, but I didn't want to start off that far and get stuck. Baby steps. Just like everything else with this injury. Thanks guys for the advice and encouragement.

Surf is flat, so I am spending more time in the gym on the upper body. Hopefully we will get some surf cause I really hate working out. Would rather be out doing something for exercise. Paddling is great exercise and as a bonus you get to ride waves. Oh well maybe there will be something to ride tomorrow.

Crutch hiked White Mountain - 3000 ft climbing summit 14,200 feet
I scoped it out for the one off. Looks good. The last 1000 ft from 13200 to 14200 ft looks loose, tuff. Garro - you will love it. I'm still up in the White's. Waiting for the moonrise in the Bristlecone grove at 11,000 ft. Should rise in 10 min. I was worked crutching up there. 9 hrs total. 5 up and 4 down. Maybe the one off is the way to go-

Way to go Arndog
That would be from the gate up?
What tip config on the side Stix did you use. How much adj can you make in the Stix or do you for up and down hill. Is the side opening cuff a good way to go for climbing and moving faster over ground.

Dude! Way to swoop on the prize!
.....and, damn good job, sir. Very confidence inspiring.
We are still planning on coming out unless something goes down or weather look sour/super cold - I am guessing that it would take me as long going up, but going down would be waaaayyyyyyy faster........
Bet the moonrise on top of the Whites was stunning!
Even if I can't make it all the way to the top I still wanna go.

Two days in a row, riding 23 miles on my hand cycle. Got home to a big box that I put together for a new fun way to work out the legs. Need to get smaller chain rings on the front, but I can go OK on flat pavement the way it is. Pretty cool to be able to peddle myself around with just my legs, slowly but moving none the less.

Arndog Man what a hike.

Flying, that's awesome! Let me know how you like it. You'll get excellent resistance workouts on your legs this way. I still haven't crossed the fence to the recumbent side yet but am thinking of it more and more.

Arndog, what a hike!

I'm still waiting out the healing fracture. I'm staying pretty limber with stretching sessions a few times a day. I'm also working on the shoulder which seems a bit better already. That's it for me. Nutt'n more going on except work.
