My wife has been out of town so it's been seven solid days of metalwork - saving up fun tickets - man, I'm cashed.

Well, other then pay two mortgages, run a buisiness and a farm........

Just staying around Northern AZ for the rest of the summer, no big trips planned, lots to do in Nor-Az - may go kayaking the Rio Colorado this weekend, I'd like to visit the North Rim of the Grand Canyon this summer, maybe fall.

Going to WI in June 2013 and I'm looking at getting a 10-day permit for the Green River in Fall 2013.
Not riding the oneoff much right now - SUPER dusty in the woods here.

Building bikes..........!

Hey Steve you could come up to Oregon some day and raft down the Rogue river.
Its not to far away for where I live. You can raft down through the wideness part after the season ends without a permit. One year it was very warm, late in the year, and I was flying over the river after the end of the permit time, well you could almost walk down the river from raft to raft. Sure looked cool from the air, all the orange rafts.

Hmmm...what you gonna do in WI, Steve?

Managed 80 minutes of workout today, treadmill, stretches and work on the exercise ball. While on the treadmill, I do believe I broke into a shuffling jog for a while there.

Anyone out there ever have frozen shoulder? Very weird. It was bothering me a lot earlier this year, then the pain stopped and now I can't raise my elbow any higher than my shoulder. Dr suspects frozen shoulder. Very annoying because it's affecting my left shoulder and I'm left handed. I'm hoping it doesn't bother my kayaking later this week.

Good luck to the Tioga Pass crew. Have a great time!

Love to - My cousin used to guide john boats for trout & steelhead on that & the Umqua (Home to the best MTB trail ever - the Umqua trail)

It's just getting away from the business, critters, houses & the farm - likely going to get up there maybe not until 2014.......

Most of my family lives in either OR or WA & I have tons of friends up there - given time, I'll be back, and I'll look you up!

My wife is from WI - We go to Trempeleau, just north of Lacross, right outside of Perrot St. Park - boat, kayak, fish, drink beer, repeat.

Super fun - where are you in WI?

The Tioga Pass mission has been completed. I had to hook a rope up to my handcycle and pull Arndog and Mark up the hill OK, I'll tell the truth, they are much stronger cyclists than I am but a good time was had by all.

That is the most climbing I have done in a single day. That was a bucket list ride for me. The air starts feeling pretty thin when working hard over 9000ft and I'm pretty tired. Arn and Mark are on their way home.

That's a very tough climb for a handcycle. You guys are amazing. Hope the downhill was fun. Do handcycles corner OK?
