Buying a european power wheelchair.

I really like the Invacare Storm3 (european version), but it is not sold here in the US. I contacted a dealer in the UK and was told that it is not uncommon to buy these chairs and bring them to the states.

Has anyone done this? Does anyone own a Storm3 who could give me some feedback?

I understand the risks (ie. future repairs & service); however, I'm willing to take that chance.
