self cathing forr c5 c6
i have been using external cathater from the last 4 years.i had an ultrasound of my kidneys and bladder.kidneys were normal in shape and size and size .doctor told me
that when the bladder empties ,urine flows back to kidneys as well and that has creatd problem in both of your kidneys.so you should go for the cathater that is inserted when bladder get full and then removed.i am about to start that. can i at c5/c6 level do it atmy own.any sort of device that can help me in the process.please post its image. thanks. |

Yes, often this is the result of reflex voiding, esp. if you have a high pressure bladder and DSD.
Do you have any tenodesis (wrist extension)? Do you have a tenodesis splint? It is difficult to do without this, although some have managed using a catheter inserter like this (which can be used with a universal cuff). You still have to manage your clothing and hold the penis. http://www.sammonspreston.com/app.as...oduct&id=75506 Is there anyone who lives with you who could learn to do this for you? (KLD) |
