Utah?

Howdy doody boys and girls,

Are there any big name people with spinal cord injuries in the Utah area? I have a friend who runs a dog-sledding company who would love to run a fundraiser. He thinks he would need a big name star to raise a good amount of money, but I think otherwise.

Does anyone live there who would like to help?

Utah celebrities?

Utah celebrities...isn't that an oxymoron? I challange anyone on this forum to name one person from Utah who is not a politician or an elder in the Mormon church! Ooops, I am letting my California pride show! Anyway, can't think of one with a SCI, but I do know several rehab professionals there who are very involved in ski patrol, etc. and might be willing to help with such a project. I can contact them for assistance if this pans out.

Are you kidding?

Utah is Hollywood East. There are more freaking stars wandering around the quiet streets of Park City than L.A. Not to mention the athletes. Members of the Utah Jazz, the entire U.S. Olympic winter team, and I believe there are a few in chairs. What better time then now to do something in Utah when the eyes of the world will be there in Feb. for the winter Olympics.

UTAH?

Hey, I'm here in Utah! Will I do? I have a popular name, is that good enough?

Sorry I don't know anyone, but in asking around I found out there was an Olympic hopeful who broke his back or neck once, and he's been seen around Provo, UT a lot.

People down in my area are more into racing cars and horses, but I'll keep asking.
