Earn $20 for Occupational Therapy Survey

Hey I was contacted by a University that needed participants in a web suvey based on people with disabilaties and it took a little less than 30/45 min. and they reimburse you with either $20 cash check or $20 gift cards to places I cant remember like Target or somewhere. I got my check fairly quickly easily answered questions. Well I was contacted again and I cant participate but they need people who havn't participated and if I knew anyone. They found me by email cause Im subscribed to an alternative therapie newsletter, so if you're interested youu'll have to use the phone #, so heres the info.------------------------------------------

Thank you for your interest in this study. Our records show that you have participated in one of our previous studies, and for this study we are limiting participation to persons who have not participated in any of our studies.

If you know of anyone else who might be interested in participating in this study, please have them contact me at (314) 286-1640.

Thank you again for your interest,

Jessica Dashner, OTD OTR/L

314 isn't a toll-free area code. The estimated time-frame you mention could well generate a phone fee in excess of $20.

not in 2008 unless you're calling internationally.

Will Sprint just quoted me .44 cents a minute or .33 a min. at night. I called the # and left mine; figure I'll see what can be done - maybe the survey can be taken over the weekend?

I just called and my phone said Missouri when calling..I think you need a new plan if you have to pay that just to call Missouri! I have Sprint too & I was on a cruise ship in the Bahamas & paid nothing when I'd call home(Michigan).

Stop spending your $$ on that shit you smoke, and stay awake long enough to get a new calling plan, those rates are highway robbery.

So, pay for call to contact listed, ask brief ques. re survey process, and if interested, it's likely just a few minutes to collect any personal info necessary for data purposes. If anyone is concerned about phone charges, try looking up the program website (or university/med. school), and see if there is a 1-800# for the dept, or general number which can connect you to the dept or project contact person. If phone calls are an issue, find the email for the contact person, which shouldn't be hard to find at all, and ask any questions you have re participation and phone costs involved. If you want to participate but do not want to make any calls, just ask by email to have research person contact you for any needed info that must be collected via phone. If they need participants, they'll call you.

No biggie. $20 isn't much, but a quick email doesn't take that much time or effort either, if one's really interested.

0.44 c/min sounds like a good rate unless you HAVE to buy $20 worth of long distance minutes every month and use it or lose it. 0.44 $/min sounds very expensive at any volume. Costco used to sell MCI prepaid card for $19.95 for 700 minutes, about 2.85 c/min, no expiry. You can also check out your neighborhood drug stores for such cards or google online if you would like.

Guys, I'll use the quoted Sprint rate to get started, if they're in the market for my ancient assed input. It couldn't take more than a few minutes.
