10th Annual Ultimate Tournament

On Thursday, September 25,2008, the organizers of the John Ryan Ultimate Frisbee Tournament will be recognizing the 10th year of the event. This event started in the fall of 1999 when John Ryan completed his cycle across Canada. John made this journey to draw awareness to spinal cord injury and to raise money for the research to find a cure.
Each year we have invited schools, both public and private, to participate in the fund raising challenge. Students pledge to play and the entry fees of the various teams are donated to the John Ryan Regeneration Fund. All the money raised has gone directly towards research into spinal cord injuries. We are hoping to make the 10th tournament a banner year for our total contribution to the research fund that John Ryan created. Together, big and small, we will make a difference in assisting John and his hope of finding a cure for spinal cord injury. For more information in this worthwhile charity, please contact W.L.
