GREAT idea. i rode bikes myself and i think most bikers would never park there once they are informed. in fact, i think most hardcore bikers would beat the s%%t outta any wimp that did so. my last exp. with 2 bikers at a restaurant who purposely left me waiting for 20 minutes or so to deploy my ramp and join the ppl waiting for me while they smoked and said yeah...we're hurrying (having been politely informed by me and restaurant) left me heartily wishing for a burly Hell's Angel to come along who woulda knocked em up the side of the head even a guy admiring the bikes said, hey, you know, this lady can't get out of her van. that's when the, yeah we're hurrying remark was made. if only i coulda got cops there in time....2 bikes @ $250/each....

Thanks for speaking up...and I really mean that...I have a hard time explaining to my motorcycle friends that they shouldn't park there!...I don't even like being with them when they tend to park there...it sucks when they don't listen!...

Instead of doing a new thread, I'll just tag on this one...
I had a chance to be an ass this morning and didn't take it. I went to the local (only) C-store in town to get b-fast, and there was a young kid parked in the only HC spot. I ask him if he knew that was a HC spot, he looked over his shoulder, looked back at me and gave me a thumbs up. I was already parked behind him (blocking him) so I thought alright asshat, I'll just park here and go and get my b-fast. Then that damn angel on my other shoulder pipes up...maybe that was his way of saying "Oh, I didn't see the sign". I gave him the benefit of the doubt and let him go.
When I got inside, the manager was watching with a HUGE grin on her face. She thought it was funny and hoping I'd make him wait. Next time he will have to wait.

Is that a correct HC spot? The sign is in fact in front of it..

Since you got a description, did you have a nice chat with her?

If a bike blocks me in, I would definitely try pushing it forward, especially if it didnt have a handlebar lock on... Hopefully I wouldnt drop it.... "hopefully"
