good free online radio

i may be late to the game on this one but i found an online radio station much better than the others i've tried. it is called pandora.com. link below. the feature allowing you to create multiple stations based on artists you like and adding the stations to a mix list has been pretty cool. i know this sounds like an ad but this site has helped me find new artists and ones i had forgotten about. anyhow here is the link.

Totally agree. My brother got me going on it about 9 months ago. Have 'built' several stations and listen to it a lot. It exposes me to music I like as well as artists / music I would never hear or learn about otherwise...

that is not the intention of the site. by clicking on whats playing lets you link to where you can purchase the mp3 or order the cd. if you don't care about copy write laws you can download free programs that record streaming media. you have to "chop" up what you have recorded into files for each track and name them so they are recognized by your media player of choice. this takes time and effort and again is illegal. i don't condone this but it is possible.
