I guess it's progress as the article says, but it sounds like they have quite a ways to go yet.

When you've got an extended history of giving little in the way of structural or structured accommodation to the disabled, you may feel the need to justify it in literature for distribution at an internationally viewed and attended game. Shame on them.

When I was going to college here in Vancouver, I was the designated table clearer in the cafeteria. It was always full, so I would give my friend my order, wheel up to the end of a tableful of Chinese students, and by the time my food arrived with the rest of the gang, the table was empty. It worked every time. Maybe they thought I was lame…

i think its a shame that once again the Chinese are ahead of the game, just like stem cells....i'm with Ala, they must have read cc and the other boards...and ironically, if they weren't right, the disabled community "wouldn't" be outraged, they'd just blow it off
