Flight Training Scholarships

Able Flight is a nonprofit organization that offers flight training scholarships to people with disabilities. Since it was founded less than 2 years ago, Able Flight has awarded 16 scholarships, and five recipients are now licensed pilots.

The majority of scholarship winners have had a SCI, and learn to fly in a unique, specially-adapted airplane. The scholarships are for training for the FAA Sport Pilot certificate.
