Incontinence Medication

I don't believe there is a new norm when it comes to urology issues. But, is it common to be on more than one medication to prevent bladder spasms? I currently use Oxybutynin and Levbid. My urologist was contemplating on keeping me on the Oxybutynin and replacing the Levbid was something newer.

Hi,

Most people are just on one medication, however, if you are on the max dose and still having symptoms, it is possible to be on two. I know occasionally people get a better effect if a combination of 2 are used. I would speak with your doctor and discuss your question and allow him/her to explain their rationale , benefits and any possible interactions, before you decide to take 2.
