tuck and roll!

this is what you do right before you pass out and roll out of your chair. i was leaning forward to get the light headed-ness to go away, but it was too late. i hear myself saying "ow, ow" as i felt my thumbs get stuck in my brakes. so yeah, now i have scraped thumbs, sore knees, shoulder blade, and ankle. nothing's hurt, i'm all good.

it was so funny because i woke right up after it and heard myself fall onto my hardwood floor, and i hear my brother out in the kitchen "what are you doing in there? you fall?" i was just laughing because i woke up clutching a big bag of swedish fish that i had in my lap. cane comes in and asked if i was ok and started laughing and tossed me in bed.

last time i did a header was two years ago, but i had grout marks in my forehead because it was a considerably high distance that time.

Sorry cali, I hope you're okay?

I fell once like that. I was down town & the sidewalk was leaning.
It whirled me around & I nose dived.
Funny thing my daughter 18 then was at the Ford Dealership across the road.
They asked her if that was her mother in the grass across the road.
She almost had a heart attack.
Funny now.

Take care and be careful. (hugs)

i may reconsider carpet for its squishy swamp effect to make for a softer landing

nah, it was a two foot roll, i literally hit my shoulder blade and my legs kinda flopped and i woke up on my side. i was semi-concious anyway, so it was weird, but i woke up laughing and was like o shit i fell.

LOL, Cali, 'tis the season. My garage door opener's battery died about three days ago. Yesterday I thought I could hit the garage switch on the wall, fly down my ramp and make it out the garage before the door could come down on top of me (I used to do this all of the time before I gt hurt, how hard could it be now?)...well, it ended up being a re-enactment of a Macho Man Randy Savage elbow to my face as I flew by the door. Tossed my ass backwards out of the chair, I sit there looking up watching the door coming down onto my chest, like some sort of blunt guillotine. It hits my chest, pushes down on it, then starts back up. Utter, catastrophic FAIL.
