Pride Mobility Wrangler Test Drive????

Anybody here ever driven a Pride Mobitlity Wrangler. I am in the market for a stable OUTDOOR scooter to use in my photography business and to use when I go hunting. In advertising the Wrangler looks to be a really big unit. I would love to test drive one but cannot find one to try. I live in Columbus, GA which is about 100 miles SW of Atlanta. I have been calling dealers in Atlanta and have yet to find anybody that has one in stock that I can test drive or even look at. I called Pride Mobility Headquarters and they were absolutely USELESS. No help at all in locating a dealer that might have one in stock. As a matter of fact they were rude about it. Surprising when they have a potential customer calling to inquire about buying a $4000 dollar unit.

Anyway has anybody had any experience with a Wrangler or know where one is for sale or rent etc.....??????

I have a Wrangler and have had it for close to 8 years now and use it for a multitude of things and would highly recommend getting one if you're an outdoor enthusiast! They are worth every penny, but are a 100% OUTDOOR UNIT.

Things I do with my Wrangler.

1. Hunt (when I had time to)
2. Fish
3. Haul a utility trailer loaded with 400lbs of mulch to spread around the property. (I'm sure this voids the warranty )
4. Hooked up my daughters sled to pull around in the snow. (I'm sure this voids the warranty )
5. Wee Eat my property
6. Stain 1/2 acre of fencing
7. Ride around outdoor events where a manual chair is not convenient
8. Plowed snow off my drive way
9. Used it to tear down and haul away an old wooden shed in my yard.
10. Camping

The thing is a beast and I have had it in mud, snow, gravel, sand and it never stops. One charge will last a full weekend of continuous abuse and I literally mean I have abused the thing, not on purpose, but it's the way I am.

Here's a few pic's of my Wrangler in action. I have more pic's on my puter at home, I'll post tonight if you'd like.

NOVA Brewfest, all in thick wet grass and would have been impossible in my manual or in some places and electric chair.

Camping and umm....drinking....

I am soooo excited!!! I just bought myself a Wrangler!!!!! Now I have to wait for it to be delivered. I have been searching for a deal on one and finally found one for sale that is just a few months old. I feel like I got a really good deal on it and am looking forward to having something that will operate in the outdoors real well. The waiting is gonna kill me.

Rugged Power Chair

I recently was at event that showcased a Permobil equipped with front wheels that extended automatically to increase wheelbase and stability in the rough. It has servo steering that would be useful for camping and off roading. I liked what I saw but did not get a price. However, I have a Permobil C400 with all the goodies and it MSRPs for about $25K, so I believe the off road chair with the extending front end would be in that ball park.

Hey Retired tech.... How old is it? I paid more for the one I got. It is only 3 months old and absolutly like new. Knobbys still on the tires. $900 sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

My Wrangler arrived today. I got it home and the batteries needed charging. It is beautiful. Can't wait for morning so I can go check it out in the woods.
