Tight plane transfer

I am traveling across the country Sunday and have a really tight (42 min) plane change in DEN. I am very familiar with the airport and don't need to change terminals-just planes. I didn't book the flight but when I was talking to the person booking I asked for a longer time period between flights. It was just booked that way by mistake.

Any suggestions on making the change since I will be the last off the darn plane. It is SouthWest so I can wheel right to/from my seat-I just need to wait for them to get my chair from under the plane;

Tell the SWA folk. They can assist both with expediting the planing/deplaning and calling over to the other gate to make sure they're expecting you.

I transferred in dallas and only had 35 minutes. Had to wait to get off, get my chair put together(it was in closet), get in aisle chair and wheeled up ramp, and get on skytram and go all the way to other side of airport for next flight. Had plenty of time, it only takes about 5-10 minutes for everyone to get off plane and for the airline to get you off.

Thanks, I travel frequently but was afraid that my plane would be delayed. It always seems to take FOREVER for everyone to get off the plane and for me to get my chair, Maybe I am just too eager to get off the damn plane and on to my next destination

Of course, the schedule is based on the fact the plane actually is on time. The flights are usually scheduled longer than the actual time in air to allow a little "play" in the schedule.

Both flights are southwest? Let the peeeps on the 1st plane know your issue, and they should be able to expedite it for you. Even if you don;t end up 1st on on the 2nd plane.

I travel with an electric wchair takes them 30 mins easy before i get it and get in it. This is normal i fly several times a year every year.

I read somewhere the OP uses a TiLite ZR. Flying across the country, she will most likely be in at least a 757, in which she can pop the wheels off and put her chair in the plane's closet, given some else hasn't filled it with crap.
