another theory about my pain...
It feels like a real risk to form another theory about what makes my pain better or worse. It has always ended up in frustration because once I think I know,it always changes. But I just can't resist, so here I go again. This time I think it has something to do with pressure in my bowels. I have been massaging my stomach firmly in the right to left pattern they suggest and it seems like I have had less pain in general. It has also been summer, though and it may have something to do with my legs being less cold. I guess I'll see... I have a t-12 injury

We are the same level but it seems like my function level is more cauda equina than actual Thoracic and Lumbar.
My insides are spastic meaning my bowel and bladder spasm horribly. My legs are flaccid which I do have muscle twitches sometimes but I am not spastic by any means. An kind of pressure or spasm on the insides make me have pain. You very well could be having pain that way.

I'm L1, but I too have found that whether it be full bladder or full rectum or over exertion or stress they all seem to end up feeling like the same pain in my back...
