Agressive Approach to the Standing Frame
To combat foot drop I have taped little wedges to the foot plates to try to simulate the way an A/B would stretch their calves. They aren't steep, it's like a person is standing on a slope, facing uphill.
My obliquity is on the left side, meaning the concavity is on the left. When standing I reach for the ceiling with my left hand and then stretch to the right as far as I can go. I do this for a few seconds at a time. I also lean back as far as I can for a few seconds, and repeat a few times. I'm wondering if this is helping or aggravating the situation.

Hi,
I don't think your wedges would cause any problems for you. I am not an expert on these topics and you may want to discuss this with a therapist. Let's see what others have to say. AAD |
