Your numbness went from the feet up? Or just generalized leg numbness all over? Any pain? I was hit by extreme pain in both elbows for about 10 minutes that seemed like hours and then it stopped and numbness and paralysis starting in my lower arms then to chest and before losing my ability to breath my left foot still moved some.

From first hit of pain to being intuated was probably two hours. It was a total of 3 hours before I was in the ICU of the hospital I would stay in. But I was in the second hospital when I started having problems breathing so the scariest pat was what my husband should tell my Dad because he would need to be called.
Have you had a follow up with a neurologist elsewhere that confirmed TM?

You might want to join the Transverse Myelitis Association. It's free just Google it. TM should be testable especially at a place like Thomas Jefferson Rehab.
