Thanks!
I adjusted the whole chair and it works perfect. I really like it. I lowered the RSH as far as it would go, sqaured the casters and moved the COG to 4". Its even better now and solved the problems I was having. I just need a new cushion and I'll be set. I took it on a 2 mile run and was totally thrilled with how much better of a chair it is than the other kind I had. I look forward to buying my secondary chair now.

even with the rsh dropped you need a new cushion?
How about cutting yours down, maybe you can shave some off the height. I know you really liked the one you have. Plus it saves money and all!Are you still interested in natural fits? I hadn't heard back from you. If you are, you need to contact who I told you!

yeah, i'm going to try and cut it up, dropping the RSH helped a lot and it fits better now, but I'd like to cut some off the bottom and back of the cushion to fit better. If not i can just get a cheap foam cushion that will fit. I don't think i need the NF now though The chair is super easy to push. Could have used those on that old chair though, thing was a pain to push. This chair has been a dream so far. Really happy with it and it looks sharp. Not a typical wheelchair which is good. I'm annoyed none of my previous OT's or DME's ever suggested one of these chairs to me. Always a folding chair with supports. Maybe that's all my hmo would cover, but a lightweight one like this really would have helped me. whatever though, its a new start. hope u are doing well, lin!

this is good to know. I will have to try out some in the future and see the difference. Do you have a brand of tire you prefer? I've only had one chair that I ran pneumatics with and I punctured the tire on one while I was out and flattened it. So I switched to solids from then on because of it. Although that was a good 18 years ago so maybe there are better options out there as far as flat prevention now. Thanks for sharing. I've had bad problems with my right shoulder, although this new chair is so much easier to use I'm thinking it will improve. best |

schwalbe!!! I've been using right runs by schwalbe for a little while now and love them. You could get red striped ones, I got blue
they have some flat prevention. Or marathons which have an incredible amount of flat prevention.

I tried Primo V track too, also good tire, more durable than Kenda. Now I am using Right Run, I like so much of it's high pressure performance.
