Maybe more light is it then. You were used to all that light this summer, now being back to the usual amount, isn;t quite enough fo you anymore.

Depression can do it too.

Or without actually being depressed, just the fact that you had the summer away, and now back to the same old life as before?

I am not depressed, I have seen a psychologist today. I have PTSD, I have taken tests before. SCI life is hard

But the light is a good idea, I will buy one lamp and take a lot of vitamins and minerales to see if I get better. rThe weather is bad, summers over and it is cold and raining

I hated the holiday, not accessible at all, worse from here because here at least my appartment is accessible. I could not do anything there, but my smallest one enjoyed it and it was his holiday.

About four years ago, I had mega trouble trying to sleep in order to make my next shift at work ... I started taking Imovane and it helped tremendously to get a restful 8hrs (at least) of sleep. The problem is that it is addictive. Highly addictive.

Since I've been off shift work and delved into a more normal pill taking regimen (instead of shifts which screwed up my times), I've found fatigue to be so much less. A lot of people with TM complain of fatigue .. but with the addition of One A Day vitamins, I find I am much, much better. Maybe try getting an hour or two to lay down every day as well? I remember at the old TM site, a lot of people had to nap to get through their day.

Antibiotics can do a number as well. (I suggest probiotics as I think it's a cure all to everything!!!) Can you get the DanActive or Activia yogurts over there?

And the light that fills the world.

If you are falling asleep, could be a sleep disorder, like Sleep Apnea. That's what it was for me. It needs a sleep study to check it.

What is Imovane, Jenn? I tend to sleep, wake up, sleep, wake up, turn over, etc.. Ambien would now take 20mg and I'm not going there.

WFE...When I lived in Germany there was a Danish thing called just Yogurt Drink in English on 2 sides and the same, I assume, in Danish on the other 2 sides of the carton. Great stuff when poured over ice. I forget the size. I would fill a weizen beer glass with the ice and have enough left for Reggie to get a small bowl. We bothed loved the raspberry flavor best. It had live cultures of probiotics too. I was drinking it for the calcium since I've never cared much for milk. Maybe 300 cl or 350 cl? Much better tasting then kefer or whatever the Turkish drinks are called. One of those a couple days a week was even ok on the diet.

Yea, might try the lights this winter. Can't hurt. And I bet you're wrong about the men..

So sorry that you are exhausted. Rarely is PTSD found with out at least a little bit of depression going along for the ride. You didn't mention pain, but is it just getting harder to do things physically too? I have that part, for sure. In my case I think it is the whole getting older with a SCI thing, and it exhausts me just to do the basics......up, dressed, showered, groceries, laundry...and all that.

I used to take a nap every day about 2-3 hours but it was impossible on holiday. Too hot and wet... and not allowed to use the aircondition in the day. And my small one is coming home from school early about 2 o'clock this year so I don't find the time.

I eat Activa yogurts when I am on antibiotics. Last year I was on antibiotics 274 days. Must be close to you I never get rid of the UTIs, E-coli, Klebsiella, MRSS, makes me crazy.

We can get that Yogurt Drink here too. Honestly, I hate the stuff. And we don't have raspberry, I like that, I use to buy in Sweden sometimes, but here we have only bad tastes. I eat cheese for the calsium, I don't drink milk either. But everytime I try calsium pills, I get renal calculus, you know like sand in the kidneys and it is painful.

LOL, I am right about the men, I have never met any woman in wheel chair who has a boyfriend. Only women who were married before the chair have a man. I think the Americans have a much better attitude to dis people than the Norwegians. You even get jobs

They said no depression and I agree, if I feel bad it is because of the bad life situation I am in, like SCI and aging, no job, not enough money and a few other things, but no depression. I agree, because I have tried all the antidepression pills and they did not help a bit.

I don't have too much pain anymore, I use a Buprenorfin patch, 5µg, and take 4 mg of Clonazepam every day. I have take the Clonazepam for at least 8 years and the patch a year so it is not the medication.

But since I am loosing function all the time, everything is getting harder like you say. But when I don't feel to go out to shop clothes or shoes, then something is very wrong

I try the vitamins and the lamp and hope I feel better after a while. And I have got a Easy Standing Table and I know I feel better when I stand every day. Sad they don't give the Easy Glider here.

I have a sleeping disorder, but I can't find the name in English. Something called delayed sleeping syndrome.
