Michael J. Fox on CNN

His lobbying before Congress was just aired live. He was shaking a lot more than in previous appearances. It was really heart-wrenching to see the effects of the disease.

Which leaves me a little confused. After the fantastic results with the one patient at Cedar's it's hard to understand why they don't seem to be focussing on that avenue of research which was FDA approved. If I was MJF I'd be paying for a trial myself and getting myself in it. I don't agree with abandoning other avenues of research that will keep the field moving forward. But since totally arresting the disease and restoring significant function is possible, now, I don't see why they haven't kept that ball rolling.

So, there was a problem with the IRB at Cedar's....? It seems like the results speak for themselves and that trial should be resumed immediately. If I had Parkinson's I'd be yelling from the rooftops.
