I'm 63 and that this clip and device are on popularmechanics.com is so very appropriate. Fifty years ago I was often excited by the personal helicopters and energy efficient fridges I'd read about in issue after issue of Popular Mechanics. I became jaded some few years later after waiting in vain for any of the wonderous toys, vehicles, devices or inventions to find they're way into RL.

Some things never change.

OTOH, we do have velcro, permenant press, lazers and crazy glue.
