Boston Center for Independent Living
Does anyone have any experience with this place? I am still desperately trying to move out of Maine, but I've been limited by caregiver needs (as in, it's hard to find a PCA in a city 300 miles away when you don't live there, yet). So I'm looking for a place where I can get a private apartment and have PCA help provided. I'm C5/6 complete, so my needs aren't extremely extensive (I manage my own bladder stuff, can prepare my own meals in an accessible kitchen, and so on). I just need someone to drag my ass out of bed in the morning and throw it back in at night. Would this be the right kind of place for me?
Anyone know of quality, safe, SCI oriented independent living facilities in the New England area that would fit my needs?
