Newbie question about butts.
After reading all the stories of bummed butts on another WEB site. I have been much more aware to mind my own
.During my initial experience being in a wheelchair during my 3 month rehab stint I could not figure what all the fuss was about from my OT & PT about making sure I sit properly and have a good cushion - they talked a bit about pressure sores but not near what I read here. Thanks to all who were candid enough to share their experiences. My newbie question of my ignorance is first besides sitting properly in a good cushion and shifting my sitting position every 30 minutes what are some tips I can se to avoid pressure sores? Also what about those stand-up wheelchairs like the Levo, are they practical solutions to preventing pressure sores on the butt? Have any here tried a stand-up wheelchair? C1/C2 Partial Thank You in advance Yaw
