pressure sore

aida comacho - Where is the pressure sore? He needs to keep all pressure off of it, keep it clean and dry. Yes, if he has a stage 2 pressure ulcer, he needs to be seen by the doctor for recommended treatment. Please do not let this go without evaluation.

The University of Alabama has a variety of information on this topic.

I would also suggest that you go to the 'search' window on this website and simply enter the words 'pressure sores' or 'pressure ulcer'; you will find many previous posts on this topic as it is a frequent topic. CRF

pressure sore

Aida Comacho - With the location of the sore, it is very important that he be seen by his doctor as soon as possible. The butt location is such a vulnerable area and has the added problem of possible contamination when doing his bowel program. CRF
