Can everyone (especially paraplegics) who is taking 4-aminopyridine now for a considerable period of time tell us about your clinical experience with drug?

What has 4-AP done to you?

hi nader i spoke to you on chat about me taking 4-ap. In my case with the virus in my spinal cord {trans verse mylitis} I got extra strength back in my legs to be able to straighten them out when usually in the morn my dad had to stretch them. I have more sensation of touch and hot and cold. Everything seems more flexable. i have been taking 4-ap for 7 mths now. But everyone is different. anty

I think people should try it for themselves because everyone is different. It didn't work for me, but I am glad I tried it, because now, I know.

I tried it 4 years ago. No effect on me. Like gretche, I'm glad too, now I know.
No side effect.

I would like you to tell the people on the forum about the side effects you experienced with the medication?

Come on guys, more experience is required!

i did not have any side affects frome 4-ap. anty

I have a little more strength, but the main reason I take it is because I can ejaculate while taking it and it helps with B&B function. Mine is compounded, but the stuff I got from Accorda trial was a lot better then this. I wish I could get that stuff again. No side affect yet, no telling what long term affect will be.
