Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute's Annual Golf Tournament for Golfers With Disabilities Set for August 23


MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute's Golf Tournament for golfers with physical disabilities will be held on Friday, Aug. 23, at Braemar Golf Course in Edina, Minn.

Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place in each flight and each division. The entry fee for the 18-hole division is $37 and $15 for the executive nine-hole. The tournament begins with a shotgun start: the 18- hole division at 7 a.m. and the executive nine-hole at 9 a.m. Lunch and the awards program will be held at 1 p.m.

Abbott Northwestern Hospital's Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute and Braemar Golf Course jointly sponsor the event to promote golf competition for people with disabilities. This is the tournament's 20th year.
