The pain makes me physically sick!!! :( :(

I honestly can't stand this pain anymore... every time I think that it can't get any worse or that there is no possible way that any other part of me can start hurting, it either gets worse or a new area joins in the horrid game . I'm just so desperate for anything to help me feel a little more human and be able to function as well as possible. This does not include getting an hour and a half of sleep (non-consecutively) and then having to drag yourself through a jammed packed day of classes, homework, appointments, etc...

My newest pains are sharp stabbing, pinching pains running from my shoulder blade and up my neck on my left side and increased abdominal pain which is causing me to have no appetite, occasionally throw up, feel like I"m constipated, and just generally feel bloated all the time. Personally, I think I look a little more bloated then normal too. And this doesn't even touch the "normal" pain that I have .

I just feel so sick all the time from all of this pain and I don't want to feel like that anymore !!!

Becky, I'm so sorry and wish I could say or do something to help! You know I'm always hoping that you'll find a doctor who can prescribe better meds or treatments for you - you'd think at Northwestern there would be someone who could help!

It is even to painful to cry from this pain. I am so far past a 10 that even trying to explain is to much for me to physically handle. Breathing is even questionable most minutes of every hour. I have a doctor appointment on Tuesday but I think it would just make me feel more defeated trying to get her to understand again where Im coming from and how desperate I am for something, anything, to make this even the smallest bit better..... (sigh)

I know......I've just spent the past few days losing sleep and being sick to my stomach, and being constipated.....oh so much fun! I don't even bother telling them anymore about the worst of times......according to my pain clinic doctor, I'm getting all I can get right now and things are going to get worse. I keep hoping for better research.

But I keep hoping that you, and Bill, and the others can still find someone who can make things better for you.......T.

The only escape from unrelenting pain on bad weeks is when I sleep, I feel for you, getting no sleep would be hell I rarely sleep for more then 2-3 hrs at time but at least its some relief, i puke from pain most mornings but I usually get some control by noon, hope you find some relief / sleep soon

I hate to see that you have been suffering so much with pain. I've experienced bouts of pain so severe that I have became physically ill and almost passed out. It is an awful thing to experience. I hope you can find a doctor that can help you with your pain issues soon.

Yeah, really. What does it matter which forum it is under? Some people have daily struggles and come here to vent or to seek comfort (which they won't likely find in this place). They shouldn't be accused of whining and gripping ALL OF THE TIME.
