The story about your car accident was touching. I say 'yours' what I mean is 'theirs'... drunk drivers are the worst..

Great job. It is nice to read the words I have not the ability to put down, than share to convey what my life is like.

Jonny, I'm happy for you that you recovered. I checked out your handcontrol recommendations. My husband is on the hunt...
Cjt8- thanks for telling me that, it is a big part of my motivation for writing. Also to know that we are not alone. |

I just read your blog and was moved to tears. So much of it was familiar to me. I was also seriously injured on vacation, away from home, although the means of injury was different. I also have a rock of a husband who has stood by me every second for the past two years. I also also pray and then leave it to God...am tremendously grateful to so many.....try to live each day in a kind-hearted way, without bitterness. I'm not sure if I'm as successful as you seem to be. There are so many admirable elements to your blog posts.
I wish you continued success as you journey through grief (yes, it can take a while) and carve out a rich and fulfilling life (and you're well on your way to that). I'm sure you're tired of being told that you are an inspiration. But, you inspired me today and I thank you for that. |

Lol...darl, "Bugger all" , "Sweet Bugger all" etc means. The same as the American term "not addin up to a hill a beans" lol....my US slang might be poor.
Means the same as "not very much" or "poor effort" etc. don't know why us Aussies and New Zealanders use Buggery as a basis for our slang. Could have something with a lack of human sexual partners as early settlers....lol. Oh yeah, I'm a big fan of Van Halen during Dave's era, the guy added humor, a heavy dose of sleaze and sophistication that poor old Sammy Hagar sadly lacked....Jesus, though I won't be rushing out to get the latest VH effort, even if Dave's at the mic!
