My GI is now bullet-proof
Many thanks to SRSR for suggesting Ultimate Meal.
I no longer have issues with lactose or gluten, although I am still pretty much dairy free save the weekly ice cream sundae. That would have been enough to tear through me - no longer. Bread, rolls, cereal, no problem. I'm still trying to keep carbs down but again, the body's revolt would always have been direct. Now I blend blueberries, strawberries and the ultimate meal powder with fat-free organic, vanilla yogurt for breakfast every morning. I also take 3 Jarrow-Dophlius probiotic pills each day. No issues after 7 years or so of misery! ![]()

Excellent news! I may try this, I've gained enough weight and now want to stabilize. Probiotics gave me uhhh, explosive runs. Does this happen to you? Are you on pain meds? (If I had been, explosive runs would have been a non-issue.)

No pain meds but probiotics can give you the shits while your body adjusts to them. It might take a couple weeks at most. Add fiber should help the body adjust.

Ultimate Meal is great stuff. I often make a smoothie with it and CHobani Yogurt, banana, blueberries, and a little unrefined raw coconut oil. It's an aquired taste, but definetly a complete nutritious meal.

I read about Ultimate Meal on here and agree it is great. Definitely gives me energy.
Was wondering if you guys still added the recommended water amount to it along with the yogurt? |
