It is beautiful. I think it is an Oriental Poppy (Papaver orientale).

When I wore a younger man's clothes

Circa 1991, was hiking the canyonlands with a friend carrying 75lb packs with photogear and stuff.

We climbed over the barricades on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon approx Nov 1 and there were no rangers so climbed down a ways. A couple days later we were snowed in at Bryce Canyon.

my friend steve took this of me. Not a fabulous photo but great rememberance.

was fun

Bill, somehow I missed this thread. The pictures are gorgeous. I don't now which is my favorite. Well, the grandaughter or course, so adorable. Maybe the door with the pots. I love the lines in the architectural pictures. The colors in the flowers are fantastic. I do love the raindrops on the roses.

I hope the trip to CA was worth the health issues. I just went out for my son's wedding.

Keep up the pictures.

I hope you are enjoying these. This walk through my archives and new work has been good for me. Started out I got a little resentful about what I've lost to SCI, but has let me relive a lot and the new work, when possible, shows me what I still can do.

kindly,

ket
