Why would it be poisonous? Alcohol can definitely cause cancer though and if you're swirling around in your mouth I suppose it's going to slightly increase the likelihood. Frankly I'd be more afraid of high fructose corn syrup, saturated fats and smoking... oh and alcohol but the type you drink.
