Manhattan/NYC Housing Suggestions
I've received a job offer in midtown Manhattan, and looking for potential living arrangements but having a tough time finding suitable ones. I'm T6/T7 in a manual chair, completely independent and looking for a place that isn't too expensive. It doesn't have to include a roll in shower because I can transfer if necessary.
Anyone have any suggestions or ideas from experience? |

I'll clarify a bit as well...
I'd like to live somewhat near where I will work, because to be honest I don't have a great understanding of NYC and what an AM commute will be like. Previous threads mention taking the bus, while there are a few subway stations that are accessible. I've never had a job where I didn't drive to work or take the metro (D.C.) so it's bringing up some anxiety. That said, I realize NYC is an expensive place to live and will have to make something work within my budget (probably max at $2,000 a month) |

manhattan and "isnt too expensive" dont relate....your gonna find alot of walk ups, and any larger building with elevators are big $...one thing your gonna run into is tight spaces ..especially when it comes to kitchens and bathrooms..
