What you had was not AD, it was a vasovagal response which means your BP dropped very low.
this is the website about vasovagal response. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/vas...SECTION=causes Vasovagal syncope occurs when the part of your nervous system that regulates heart rate and blood pressure malfunctions in response to a trigger, such as the sight of blood. Your heart rate slows, and the blood vessels in your legs widen. This allows blood to pool in your legs, which lowers your blood pressure. This drop in blood pressure and slowed heart rate quickly diminish blood flow to your brain, and you faint. Although vasovagal syncope can occur at any age, it's being recognized as an increasingly important cause of fainting in the elderly. Common triggers for vasovagal syncope include:

Faith I wanted to send you a private pm but i wasn't able to find a way to do it on your profile. I am seriously wondering if you might have Munchausen syndrome. I am not trying to cause problems or start anything but after reading your other post i seriously think you need professional help.....You can't go on living this way.

in munchausen the individual makes themselves sick for attention of medical professionals. Faith does not appear to be making herself sick. I mentioned in the other thread what I see in faiths behavior.
But no one can diagnose over the internet, she would need to see a therapist/counselor/psychologist. I really hope this thread does not go the path of the other one.

I've always wondered what made me feel like this. I knew it wasn't AD, because I know what AD feels like. A vasovagal response is a walk in the park compared to severe bout of AD.

Make sureyour stools or not too hard. Maybe a stool softener, suppository or something !
But this is from an expert Vaso-vagal fainting person- no spine issues.( Used to faint everyone month due to menstrual cramps!!!! Glad I am too old for that now!) If I have a pain in my stomach - from anything- i will have a vagovasal response. Need to -Lie down flat( evens out your blood flow) and you won't get dizzy and pass out. Your vagus nerve goes to your abdominal area, heart and to medulla in brain. Affects heart rate, blood pressure etc... so... Ok to call ambulance if first time- or atleast go to doctor- similiar symptoms of stroke or heart attack or something serious. And you should make sure everything in those areas are ok also!! If they are then vaso-vagal response it was! CWO |
