Dewie,
I have Tuff stuff American made machines. They are not cheap either but very well made. I bought a smith machine and cable machine from them. Great material for the money. Just a thought, but google there site and check out if there is a dealer by you. sometimes they have used equiptment dirt cheap. It might have a couple scratches. I bought a used shoulder press for $450 and it works great. They are use free weight plates. Take care,
Best Regards,
Joe

I have the Apex machine and for me it really is a great piece of kit; expensive yes but in comparison to anything similar in the UK it has a greater variation of exercises and even after shipping/customs duty etc it still comes out over £1000 cheaper?

It took 2 evenings to put together and then i had my dad go over the bolts and tighten them fully; no problems or issues and i've had it for the last 12 month.

Thats good to know I wasn't sure if that was a good one or not. Anything you hate about it?
