Cathing safe in newly painted room?
Does anyone know if there are any safety issues associated with straight cathing in a freshly painted room? My concern is that of one can smell the paint, then some of the paint molecules could adhere to the lubricant and wind up in the bladder.

Wow, your imagination for things to worry about would make my nervous-about-everything grandfather proud.
![]() Your lungs are absorbing WAY more fumes and particulate (if any) than whatever infinitesimally tiny minute amount might adhere to your catheter in the few seconds it takes to introduce into the urethra and bladder.
