If you're ever read, American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis .. then you'll enjoy this http://www.briankotek.com/psycho/movie/am2000.cfm
A series of supposed emails not written by the author, but approved. I can't help but see the similarity between Patrick Bateman's inner monologue (narration) and Christian Grey's from the Fifty Shades trilogy! Almost identical to me!

Wild by Cheryl Strayed is a wonderful memoir. If you love the outdoors, this will let you experience extreme hiking along the Pacific Crest Trail, along with her confrontation of personal issues.
Also, The Sociopath Next Door is a non-academic explanation of some of the seemingly normal folks we deal with on a daily basis, and strategies to identify those individuals lacking a conscience. |

Just finished Poorly Made in China. The subtitle says it all: An Insider's Account of the Tactics Behind China's Production Game. Written by a business graduate who spoke Chinese and was on the ground floor of that huge global shift of production to China. Eye-opening when you realize how little we save annually on cheap stuff from Wal-Mart compared to the costs. American importers would get the first few orders delivered with no problems then Chinese manufacturers would start finding ways to save money directly profiting their bottom line. Like plastic bottles that started getting flimsier and flimsier. Or watered down formulations. Or using faster drying lead paint on children's toys. This happened to Mattel despite having a 10+ year relationship with the Chinese manufacturer.

I'm going through a re-reading phase. Pulling stuff off the shelves I haven't spent time with in a while.
Latest enjoyment was Finnegan's Wake, by James Joyce. That guy was generations ahead of his time!
