Good to hear the bladder biopsy was normal. When are you having the ultrasound?

This sounds like my Aunt. Out of nowhere she suddenly had uti symptoms and at her age, 70 and AB, she had one before this in her 30s. She was able to get into her OB/GYN right away and an ultrasound followed by a CT found what would be a BENIGN but lemon sized ovarian cyst. The surgery was Christmas Eve but she was home feeling much better the 27th after laprascopic removal. This was about 6 years ago. Her doc and she both figured uti was not probable even though that was her main complaints. I wouldn't worry. Anything pressing on the bladder at all can cause a ton of pain. Might try swapping out foleys more often too if you can until a cause is found.
Healing thoughts your way, Cass.

just another update. trans vag ultrasound showed thickening of walls but here's the part i don't understand: they couldn't see ovaries...why? uro has put me on vesicare, uvibil and a 14 day course of augmentin and set up gyn appt 8/1. i'm talking to my pcp about the ovary thing tomorrow. radiologist blamed it on my quadriplegia making the trans vag too hard to do. i don't know why. i was on the table, flat on my back.

geez, never had so much trouble. pain persists.

The first question I would ask is, where the heck did my overies go? Then I might ask, how could the disappearance of my overies cause all this pain? OY!!! I hope you get some answers soon.
