Help with bowel management
If you have loose bowel movements or diarrhea often, I take a Cholestyramine packet twice a day with food and it makes it like a brick and is more controlable. It is mainly used for high cholesterol, but an underlying effect is this. Before i found this out last year I needed a clean up crew once or twice a week because i couldn't make it to the bathroom.

Unless you have Crohn's disease or Irritable Bowel Syndrome, for which this medication can be prescribed (among other primary conditions), you might be better off to try taking dietary fiber like Metamucil to get a balanced stool consistency. The goal of your bowel program should be to have consistently soft, formed stool, not diarrhea and then constipation.
Cholestyramine can have some side effects that you don't need to risk and also is contraindicated to many medications you may be take or may have to take. All the best, GJ |

I hope you are taking the medication to treat a deficit for it's intended use.
