Hi There!
For almost 2 years now I've always had to burp a lot! I wanna let it out, cuz i cant keep it in. im glad im not farting! But it rarely goes down. In the morning, b4 breakfast when i get put in the chair burping starts. When i lay down it's the least. It's tiring sometimes. Do you guys n girls experience this? whats your suggestion? my grandma and ma get sick of hearing me burp...and i dont have any control over it.. Please help!

Try and antacid/antigas to neutralize it. i.e. Beano, Simethicone, gas x
Might want to check for reflux and then would need Nexium or something like that. CWO |

I'm the same way! When I wake up of the morning and set up in bed I usually burp several times and I continue to burp throughout the day. I can pretty much burp on demand not that I'm proud of it. I've been like this for bout 5 years now, I've been told that chewing gum can cause you to take in extra air which can lead to having to burp often. I chew gum all the time and it has become more of a habit so that's probably my own fault.

There may be some other things that you can do to control excessive burping. Don't drink from a straw, bottle, or can. Chew with your mouth closed and don't talk when you chew, eat and drink more slowly, drink herbal teas after eating, wear loose fitting clothing.
Simethicone, the active ingredient in Gas-X. Simethicone breaks up the surface tension of trapped gas and allows your system to deal with it naturally. Beano has naturally occurring enzymes (Alpha-galactosidase) that work with your digestive system to break down complex carbohydrates into more easily digestible sugars Here is a list of foods that cause the most gas in the digestive tract:
All the best, GJ |
