My cousin set records in the fly and subsequently blew off an almost full ride scholarship to a top school I will not name LOL. My kid was also a very competitive swimmer. I was paranoid too. I always wondered why they skim dived at the shallow end of the pool when most of the pools we competed at had 12 foot ends. This was a summer league in our small town.

My cousin injured his neck by hitting the wall in at a practice. He mis-calculated and ran head on into the concrete wall. He still has problems today.

i will allow it,they see what could happened if they are not careful ,also most important as parents we know how are kids are are there responsible,are their wild don't listen to us all those little things give you an idea if is wise for you kid to ride or not ,i have spina bifida and before i could actually drive my dad both my a motorcycle i wore brasses on both my legs and everybody gave them grief about it but he both it so i can go to school back and forward i crash 3-4 times but they never told me i could not ride again always told me to be more careful
