I'm about to get my new handbike soon which do have threaded axles for the rear wheels.
On my old handbike I've got quick release but I would like to use the wheels from that bike on my new bike. Without knowing how a hub with threaded axle really looks; Is it possible to just swap the axles to get my old wheels onto my new bike or do I have to buy completely new threaded axle hubs for my old wheels? |

I think I hear you saying you need / want to use 'quick release' on the new bike that comes with the threads...?
You cannot put a quick release axel into a threaded axel sleeve. Not that I know of, anyway.

What I do mean is - can I remove the quick release axle from my hub and insert something like this http://w.ivenue.com/Wheelchairparts_...lock-nut.rhtml
1/2" threaded axle in 1/2" quick release hub. |
