ZRA 2 is the newer version of the ZRA, not much difference(i think they went with a smaller wall ube to shave off a little weight). The single sided forks are nice, you're not always banging them into stuff, like cabinets. I think they've dropped the "series 2" from the name because the older version is no longer available.

ZRA(1) is no longer available. ZRA(2) introduced some new adjusting hardware: caster adjustment, axle mount, and backrest hinge.

I have a series 1 (AeroZ). IMO, the series-2 hardware is friendlier - I wish I had it. The standard 2-sided fork is still available on the current ZRA series (aka ZRA2).

This design is much clever and solid than the Quickie Q7.

This might have been asked before but does anybody know if the new axle mount and backrest hinges would work on a series one? Kind of curious if I could turn my series 1 into a series 1.1/4 so to speak.

solid seat pan are an option. A person needs either the solid pan or adjustable by straps. the standard fabric seat sling that you are suppose to be able to tighten with the metal starps don't work worth the crap from TiLite(had those on my quickie and had no problem adjusting tension). If I got another TiLite it would be a TR. Being able to adjust center of gravity would be nice since they keep changing the chairs. The 2 ZR series aren't even really compareable, I used the same specs and even had COG a 1/2" farther forward on my new series 2, it is very front heavy, pretty much useless. So getting a new chair still has problems because of their poor quality control.

I'd file for an Icon, then all you need to be is close on measurements and you have plenty of fine tuning to get it perfect.

my current chair has the adjustable by straps but this demo has the bolted on it seems like it might be sturdier
whats your thoughts on that
