I moved my foot for the first time post SCI 20 years
I moved my foot for the first time last year and hubby recorded it. I can still move my feet the right one more than the left yet I can move my left thigh more than my right thigh, weird.

Wow, that is fabulous! I got an error message when I tried to play the video, so I couldn't see you moving, but return after 20 years is marvelous - what a hopeful message that sends!

Isn't it a controlled spasm or the movement is happening up higher in the hip flexor area, not the foot?

PERSONALLY, I believe it's because I stopped believing that I'll never walk again. In 2008 I went for brucker biofeedback and the procedure proved the my injury was not complete but incomplete. Armed with that knowledge my whole outlook on my ability to walk changed drastically. One human cannot tell another what will NEVER happen to them in their own lives.
