Being away from home makes everything that much more of a hassle, and everything is far away. In a sense I was looking for a way out, my last experience was horrible.

With all that said everything went well, I stayed in for nearly 3 hours and really enjoyed myself. The weights were a great idea, 7.5lbs on each ankle. We ended up using a sling to get into and out of the pool. My brother, the fireman, uses them at work frequently and felt the most comfortable with that. With two men and my mothers help it went great. Getting out we had another mans help for precautionary reasons.

Thank you everyone for the advice and input.

I have a pool with a water powered lift on it , but I asked my nurse about going in but she said definatly not to go in until my wound was totally healed because the chlorine would cause too much of the tissue around the wound to get too soft and make the wound worse.
And I am not sure but if you are talking about a pool that uses salt vs a pool that the salt water is filtered out from the ocean ,they just use salt to generate chloine. So it would not really be a salt water pool..
