If they are willing to do it for nothing I see no harm in letting them do it, as most people on here are telling you they are easy to install and most family members do it for them so why would you not let a mechanic at a dealership do it for you for free?

anyone less than a professional wouldn't have been able to figure out.

My controls were installed by the ability center in Vegas and I was very
satisfied with the work and the cost.
Ability center did mine also and they did a great job but my suregrip handcontrols cost about $1100 and that included the installation, I didn't balk cuz my company paid for it. I'm curious how much did yours cost? Yeah Nissan doesn't have any program to install adaptive equipment and thats bunk

Fuente, Yeahhhh I bought another altima (black), I really dig the pushbutton ignition. I wanted a new car cuz my grey altima got pretty beat up when I was learning how to break down my chair - good lord my car was thrashed inside its a wonder they took the thing even tho its an 08. I'm still thinking the mechanics can do it - we shall see.

yup, my old car was white, new car is black. BIG difference in scratch visibility. I learned that real quick.

I still dig the black.

You know I wasn't really digging the black but yesterday I seen a black altima and it looked great, I guess tinted windows will make it look better so now I dig it again. Hey John I changed something on my shifter mod, my brother was tooling around with my shifter and he broke the plastic d-ring, I thought I was effed but he found one of those camping clips and for me it works better than the smaller d-ring.

What do you guys think.
most are just bolt on.
but like mine now, it has the horn and hi/low beam on the hand control, so in that situation, i think i'd rather have the dealer install them with the wiring connections of 'their' car
