Hi Careboarder,

I am sorry for the difficulties you face with immigration (and your boyfriend's injury too, of course). For immigration advice, you may want to check out this forum: www.britishexpats.com. There is a lot of good advice on there in the US immigration section of the forum - a few immigration attorneys also answer questions on there, and have experience with same sex couples.

Congrats on your medical school acceptance, and good luck with immigration.
